Ailes: I Even Built the CNBC Set Before I Left

The influence of Roger Ailes at CNBC lingers. The Fox Business News head engages in what can only be properly construed as some smack talk against the competition — that would be CNBC — in an interview with the soon to be Murdoch-owned Wall Street Journal. Ailes believes that CNBC is still coasting on his From WSJ:
”WSJ: Did they make any programming changes?
”MR. AILES: They did that last week in anticipation of our schedule, which we haven’t put out yet. They reached out to talent to give it a fresher look. They’re still living on shows that, in many cases, I oversaw the development of 12 years ago when I was there. You know, ‘Squawk Box’ and ‘Power Lunch.’ I even built them their set before I left — their newsroom.”
