All in the Guccione family: Bob and son to move to Florida, relaunch Omni

In an answer to our own question, formerly embattled Penthouse founder and publisher Bob Guccione Sr. has announced plans to move to Florida - to relaunch Omni Magazine along with his son, Bob Guccione Jr., formerly the founder of Spin and the now-defunct gear.

According to the Miami Herald, Guccione (Sr.) reconciled with his son after their 17-year estrangement thanks to Guccione Elder’s fiancee, April Warren (pictured left with father and son). Now they’re set to found another magazine empire: after Omni, the Bobs are “planning to launch national magazines dealing with arts and entertainment” (no word on whether they will be hosting salons for the benefit of South Florida’s cultural enrichment).
