Animated Penguins Beat Bond And A Borat At Box Office

happy_feet.jpgWe made a bold, unqualified box office prediction on Friday: Bond would beat Borat. We were right. But we didn’t predict a flock of animated penguins would beat ‘em both:

In a tight race for the weekend box-office crown, Happy Feet danced in with an estimated $42.3 million to outgun Casino Royale. The first outing for new spy guy Daniel Craig finished with $40.6 million, per studio estimates Sunday.

Borat finished third with $14.3 million.
