Arianna Huffington Hosts The Rachel Maddow Show
Arianna Huffington subbed in for Rachel Maddow on her show last night (as for any previous bad blood incurred between Arianna and MSNBC? According to TVNewser, it’s all water under the bridge). In this segment she talks to Google’s Eric Schmidt about Barack Obama and the Internet presidency — Schmidt says one of the great winners of the election was the Internet, itself. Arianna, upset by the fact Obama will have to give up his Blackberry, suggests that Google create an application called Google President just for him (not a bad idea, actually!). After the jump Arianna talks to recent major book-deal recipient 538.com’s Nate Silver (a side note: we heard the two book deal Silver made with Penguin was based solely on two pages of bullet-pointed ideas, and some printouts of blog entries).
