Beck Allows Fans To ‘Banksy’ New Album

Grammy award-winning Scientologist Beck‘s latest album, The Information, was released this week and included, in a Banksy type move, are stickers to create your own album cover — one way to sucker fans into buying CDs. Although, as Beck explains, stickers present a problem in Europe.

“In England and Europe, they said if you put a sticker in the record, it disqualifies it, because it’s like you’re bribing the listener,” Beck told the Onion A.V. Club. “You can’t be on any charts or anything.”

Meanwhile, FishbowlNY took the liberty of designing our own Beck album cover [above] with stickers not included.
