Blender Renames Gramercy Theater

How weird is the rock club scene in New York getting? As weird as baseball stadiums or MLS soccer teams, apparently. Blender, the Dennis Publishing music magazine currently on the block, has secured the naming rights to one of Manhattan’s newest rock venue, the Gramercy Theater.

The magazine is launching the 600-seat “Blender Theater at Gramercy” (see Fillmore East at Irving Plaza) with a blow-out concert by Wolfmother on Thursday.
