Bloomberg TV Takes Viewers to the iPad

Can’t get enough of your Bloomberg TV? Well, to paraphrase the famous catch phrase that helped lift MTV into the stratosphere, “I want my BTV–app!”

Bloomberg TV, with its world headquarters on Lexington Avenue, has launched a new iPad app. Lost remote.com reports Bloomberg is streaming its entire broadcast day, which includes overseas programming in London and Hong Kong, to anyone with an iPad.

The Web site reports with Oke Okaro, Global Head of Mobile at Bloomberg helming the project, the app also offers customizable on-demand content based on location and topic, and in the near future iPad exclusive content.

Although video is the iPad’s stock in trade, Okaro tells Lost Remote.com that users can get live market data and can customize Bloomberg’s familiar scrolling ticker.
