Borat Soundtrack To Include ‘Throw Jew Down The Well’; iTunes Gets It Week Early

borat_soundtrack.jpgIt’s a Borat bonanza.

Despite losing out on a rumored Vanity Fair cover, Sacha Baron Cohen‘s controversial upcoming Borat mockumentary is getting the full promotional push — Letterman, Conan, the Daily Show — including a soundtrack on Atlantic Records that will be released on iTunes October 24.

The album, BORAT: STEREOPHONIC MUSICAL LISTENINGS THAT HAVE BEEN ORIGIN IN MOVING FILM ‘BORAT: CULTURAL LEARNINGS OF AMERICA FOR MAKE BENEFIT GLORIOUS NATION OF KAZAKHSTAN, perhaps the longest name in soundtrack history, includes the infamous “In my country there is problem (Throw the Jew Down the Well)” — which Cohen performed on the Da Ali G show.

Borat‘s already fashioned a mock home page for the film. And, unlike Snakes, we’re beginning to think this promotional overkill may actually work at the box office.
