Bravo’s Andy Cohen to Reality TV Hopefuls: ‘Good Luck’
Surely, you know Bravo’s Andy Cohen by now. He’s that guy who asks Bethenny what’s up with her fight with Jill or Patti Stanger for the best places to nab a rich man. As senior VP of original programming and development, Cohen says he’s happy viewers are so engaged with the network’s programming — even if it means subjecting himself to some not so pretty feedback.
“People are mean. It’s fun. I’ve developed a thick skin,” he says. “If they’re engaged enough to not only wanna tell me what they think of our housewives, and our chefs, and our designers, it’s totally groovy with me if they wanna tell me what they think of me. And sometimes it’s nice, and sometimes it’s not. That’s par for the course.”
