Sources tell FishbowlNY that the block surrounding the intersection of King Street & Varick Street in Greenwich Village has been sealed off by the NYPD. Two men with handguns and another man with a sniper rifle have been reported.

Police helicopters are currently circling overheard. No news organizations as of yet have reported from the scene.

Update: It was two complete idiots filming a movie on the roof of Kate Hudson's condo. Arrests have been made, the police are pissed. Nevermind.
