With the buzzy weekend blog shakeup at Gawker occupying most of our headlines, it appears there was another high-profile new media firing, this time in the vlogosphere.
Rocketboom‘s popular vlogger Amanda Congdon was, has been, as she puts it, “unboomed” by Andrew Baron, a 51 percent stakeholder in the company.
As Gothamist notes, Congdon’s fans have been atwitter over her ousting, with some wondering if the whole thing was part of an elaborate vlog hoax.
