He will meet with president and COO of News Corp., Chase Carey, at Genachowski’s office today and requested that the FCC intervene in the ongoing dispute to join the two sides in good faith talks for a resolution.
Dolan’s attempt to appeal to the FCC chairman to save Cablevision comes on a day when the cable service provider risks losing Fox’s coverage of game one of the World Series. The first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 7:57 p.m., the clock is ticking Mr. Dolan.
