Can Anyone Sell Air America?

airamerica02.05.09.pngAir America Media, your favorite liberal radio, video, and online company, is adding to its sales team.

Scott Elberg gets promoted to chief revenue officer where he’ll manage the new team dedicated to selling across all three platforms. Company woman Angela Loftus will stay in her position as vice president of sponsorship sales while Joe Kenavan will also remain as the vice president and director of national and network sales. New hires include Lory George (director of digital sales) and Terry Howard (account manager).

“Air America Media’s goal in 2009 is to focus on listeners, readers and viewers, which will include a Web site redesign, the launch of an online video offering, and several on-air initiatives,” CEO Bennett Zier said in a statement.

Sure, there’s no money being spent on advertising, but this is why companies love commission-based compensation. We wish everyone at Air America the best of luck.
