CNBC Falls For Aquaman‘s ‘$116 Million’ Stunt

Falling for a fake ad. Happens to the best of us. However, some of the best of us don’t have a live national cable business show to broadcast our stumble, nor, for that matter, (presumably) a bunch of producers around us to say “hey, dude, that’s totally fake.”

CNBC’s Joe Kernan found all of this out the hard way.

UPDATE: A CNBC exec says Kernen did, in fact, get the Aquaman joke, and had referred to it as such earlier in the segment. So there.
