Daytime Goes Political: Bill Clinton Takes in The View
So, Bill Clinton was on The View yesterday, apparently he accepted the invite after seeing the John McCain’s interview the other week. According to Bill Geddie the show’s producer, he “wanted in on the action.” The appearance was decidedly less testy than McCain’s — of course neither Clinton nor his wife are currently running for president. That said, inevitably Clinton was accused afterwards of being tepid in his support of Obama. We actually read his comments as insightful and intelligent, but maybe we’re just in the tank!
