Denver Gets Dolled-Up For the Convention
Those of you who were in New York City during the 2004 RNC convention will remember that during those four days the city felt a bit like Bladerunner meets an Eastern European police state. Here in Denver two days ahead of the start of the DNC things are (so far) slightly less occupied, and, shall we say, a bit more patriotic in the old-fashioned sense of the word. Take for example FishbowlNY's morning trip to the grocery store.
