You should be known for packaging stories in creative ways, and be able to deliver fresh and clever display copy. A team player mentality is a must-have since you’ll be managing and mentoring a team of writers and editors.

A minimum of five years of experience as a senior editor at a national magazine will get your foot in the door, but you should also have a strong background in or familiarity with the fields of health and nutrition.
