Ex-Family Circle, FC Execs To Launch Life-Biz Title Success in June

success_magazine.jpgWhile media onlookers anxiously await the naming of Condé Nast’s forthcoming business magazine, Success, another business title, is set to launch June 6 with a rate base of 650,000 and tagline that eyes on the ever-illusive “work-life balance.”

The magazine is helmed by veteran editor Gay Bryant (Family Circle, Mirabella), publisher Joseph Guerriero (VNU Business Media) and creative director Patrick Mitchell, formerly the founding designer of Fast Company.

And, flipping through its first issue, it looks — and feels — like Fast Company, and with a formidable rate base, can only cause the crowded marketplace for biz magazines to look and feel like a World Cup stadium — hooligans included.
