Nicolas Butterworth, the former CEO of MTVi, MTV’s former dot-com division that included MTV.com, VH1.com and Sonicnet.com — and one of the great casualties of dot-com bust^ — has launched a beta version of Travelistic, a start-up described as a “YouTube meets the Travel Channel meets YouTube” by someone who has seen the beta version.

Travelistic’s tagline: “Watch Where You’re Going.”

Butterworth has been holed up for months in a downtown “incubator” on Broad Street working on Travelistic in what was described as “stealth mode.”
