‘F*cking Harder’ Than Anyone: Diane Sawyer Grills Mel Gibson

Diane Sawyer‘s interview with Mel Gibson is slated to air on ABC Thursday, and, hard to believe, but there were no restrictions imposed by Gibson, Deadline Hollywood Daily reports. It’s the second time she’s interviewed Gibson, having traversed a sit-down [above] with the Passion of the Christ director once before.

Says an “insider”:

“[We knew] she’d be the hardest on him, yet she’d be fair. We needed someone who’d hit him hard. But she was “f****** harder on him than I could imagine. I was cringing … No other TV journalist would have been that hard on him.”

Will her performance help repair her relationship with the staff at Good Morning America? If you believe Rush and Molloy, sounds like it could use a little mending.
