First-Time Ellie Nominee Kerry Lauerman of Salon.com on the Menu

Today on the mediabistro.com Morning Media Menu we’re joined by Salon.com’s Kerry Lauerman.

Lauerman is a first-time Ellies nominee for Salon’s Open Salon section, which he is the director. He is nominated in the “interactive feature” category.

We talk to Lauerman about what the nomination means, and also about the changing media landscape — Portfolio folding and more.

“It’s a thrill,” he says of the nomination. “It’s kind of cool because it’s the sort of nomination you can share with a lot of people…it’s really a credit to the thousands of people who have contributed to the site.”
