For the Record, Latest Biden Gaffe Happened at a Frozen Custard Stand, Not a ‘Frozen Yogurt Store’

Vice President Joe Biden today made a few headlines among elitist coastal media institutions and other news outlets for calling the manager of Kopp’s Frozen Custard a “smartass.”

A combative Joe Biden snipping at an affable Midwestern restaurateur makes for a fun little item, but we must take exception with the mainstream media’s characterization of Kopp’s as a “frozen yogurt store.” Frozen yogurt is a low-fat, sometimes non-caloric treat for out-of-touch urbanites.

Frozen custard, meanwhile, is ice cream, but with eggs. It is basically created with the exact opposite intent as that of frozen yogurt. That is, it clogs arteries even faster than conventional ice cream. Reporters should also note that Kopp’s specializes in hamburgers that have butter on them. In Wisconsin, such things are possible.
