James Pharo and Frank Santopadre — publisher and editor, respectfully, of the late Jest magazine — have launched Comedywise, a sort of material-for-hire outfit aimed at humorless corporate executives, politicians and others in search of laughs.
They claim they work “in the strictest confidence, of course,” yet their Web site reveals a list that includes Meredith Vieira‘s last show on the View (huh?), the Comedy Central Roast of Pam Anderson and standup material for the late Richard Jeni.
