Remember when the economy was the only thing anyone could talk about and it helped push President-elect Obama — sorry, President-elect Barack Obama — to victory?

Well perhaps John McCain should have chosen Blake Lively instead of Sarah Palin as a running mate. According to Google Trends, her show Gossip Girl beats out the economy in the mind of Net-savvy Americans.
