Greenlight Magazine: Nothing to do with Affleck or Damon

greenlight.pngWe can’t keep up with Salon these days. Broadsheet. Video Dog. How The World Works. And now they’re “proud to announce” a magazine that looks like Dwell and sounds like Affleck.

It’s called Greenlight Magazine and we just learned about it via a super-special Salon Premium subscriber email. It’s apparently a “brand new one-stop resource of practical product advice,
inspiration and ideas for earth-friendly living,” and not at all about breaking into the film biz through that trusty portal to Hollywood, the internet. This is what we know about it: it’s based in SF, its editor is named Bill Marken, it’s available in an all-digital format (though there’s a print edition ’round the bend) and it spells “dilemma” incorrectly in the table of contents (oops, who greenlit that page? Har har).

We don’t really know what that has to do with Salon; probably about as much as we have to do with Anderson Cooper. Anyhow, this doesn’t have much to do with New York media, either, unless you count all the times we take off on our snowshoes. Point being, couldn’t we all be a little more green? I think so. For me, that means re-gifting. Merry Christmas!

p.s. This goes out to that anonymous tipster who ‘specially requested less Judy and more news! Check it out, tipster! Greenlight magazine! Whoo! Even if you’re not a Salon subscriber, you can still get four issues free. Rock on!
