Source Interlink Media is appealing to female audiences with their launch of Harmony magazine – a publication that will focus on issues including health, fitness, beauty, family, and food. The magazine will be introduced exclusively on newsstands and represents Source Interlink Media’s first women’s lifestyle title. Source publishes around 70 magazines — most of which center on automobiles and technology.
Harmony’s editorial director Lynn Leahey believes that if this inaugural issue is a success then the magazine can grow into a staple among women’s print titles.
We’re optimistic. If it works as well as we hope then you will definitely see more.
200,000 copies of Harmony will be disseminated throughout the U.S. and Canada from now until the end of March. The magazine will sell for $4.99 in the U.S. and $5.99 in Canada and be carried in Wal-Mart, Barnes & Noble, Kroger, Safeway, and A&P.
