Haute Living Happily Living in Denial

hauteliving10.30.08.jpgWell, with the economy in a recession and all, we wouldn’t put out a magazine dedicated to the Haute 100. But different strokes for rich folks, you know?

In honor of its second anniversary, Haute Living New York will publish its Haute 100 New York list, featuring Gotham’s biggest and brightest billionaires, thinkers, originators, entrepreneurs, philanthropists and power couples. In the coming months, the magazine’s Miami, San Francisco and Los Angeles editions will print their own lists. Then next October, the bimonthly New York book will revise its original 100. We’ll probably make the cut then.

But who made the cut this time?

The usual suspects: George Steinbrenner, Donald Trump, Ian Schrager, Diane von Furstenberg, Barry Diller, Emily Rafferty, Derek Jeter, Rupert Murdoch, and Michael Bloomberg to name nine.

We would imagine Dick Fuld didn’t make the cut.
