Hot 97′s Summer Jam Starts Petition to Declare New Meadowlands Stadium District 97
As we’ve been reporting, next month Hip Hop fans will converge on the New Meadowlands Stadium for Hot 97′s annual Summer Jam.
This year, Hot 97/WQHT and Summer Jam 2011 are petitioning the government to declare the stadium “District 97″ on Sunday, June 5. The station is seeking District 97 Brand Ambassabors to help gather 50,000 signatures and make history in the process.

Among the big-name artists scheduled to perform: Lil Wayne, Drake, Birdman, and Fabolous. Surprise guests are also part the Summer Jam experience.
