Hungry for a New Gig? Everyday Food Seeks Senior Food Editor

Culinary gurus, listen up. Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia is looking for a senior food editor to oversee, edit, develop and produce food-related content for Everyday Food magazine. You’ll also be testing recipes for accuracy in taste and appearance. Hello, dream job.

Working with the editor-in-chief and deputy editor, you’ll head up food styling, features, recipe ideas and more, while top editing pieces for each issue. You’ll primarily be dealing with the magazine, but there will be opportunities to develop content for books, television, the Web, digital editions, broadcast, retail/merchandising and advertising, too.

The ideal candidate will have formal culinary training and 5-7 years of food experience, preferably in a professional kitchen. Food styling for editorial photo shoots and prior recipe editing, development and testing experience is desirable, and those with managerial experience will shine extra bright. Interested?
