Irina Aleksander Says Goodbye To The New York Observer
The Awl’s Choire Sicha reported that Irina Aleksander left her staff reporter post at The New York Observer today. Aleksander is expected to take her writing talents to The New York Times style section where she will join former Observer editor Alexandra Jacobs.
Aleksander was the last female name to appear on the Observer‘s masthead and leaves the paper with a staff comprised completely of male writers.
