James Brown To Lie In ‘Soul State’ At The Apollo Tomorrow | Spike Lee To Direct Biopic

jb_live_at_apollo.jpgArguably his best albums were recorded there, and tomorrow James Brown‘s body will rest in “soul state” on the stage of the Apollo Theater (253 West 125th Street) in Harlem from 1:00PM to 8:00PM for public viewing, Reverend Al Sharpton said yesterday.

Meanwhile, Spike Lee has signed on to direct a biopic on the Godfather of Soul, Variety reports.
