Jewish Daily Forward Adds to Management Team
New York-based Jewish Daily Forward has appointed three new staffers to its management team.
Dave Goldiner has been with the Forward since last summer, as a temporary maternity replacement for the director of digital media, Gabrielle Birkner. In the new position of deputy director of digital media, Goldiner will report directly to Birkner.
Before joining the Forward, Goldiner spent a dozen years as a writer and editor at the New York Daily News.
Bob Goldfarb has been hired as director of marketing and audience development. In that role, he will spearhead an expanded audience research program and provide strategic marketing expertise.
Kim Rosenberg Amzallag has been named the new director of advertising. She’ll oversee the Forward‘s sales staff and work directly with major accounts and agencies to create powerful multiplatform marketing campaigns.
“The dramatic expansion of the Forward‘s audience and digital offerings creates many opportunities for us,” says Samuel Norich, publisher and executive director. “Bob, Kim, and Dave are tremendous additions to a business and editorial team that already has expanded the fiercely independent journalistic culture of our 114-year-old Yiddish newspaper into a vital and influential, multilingual and multiplatform media organization.”
