Joe Posnanski is leaving Sports Illustrated for a recently announced joint digital venture between USA Today and MLB. Posnanski had been with SI since 2009, and prior to that he was a writer for The Kansas City Star for 13 years.
The Big Lead reports that Posnanski hasn’t sorted out his exact departure date with SI yet, and he’s unsure what his exact role at the new venture will be.
