Kate Taylor Leaves Wall Street Journal For The New York Times

Reporter Kate Taylor has quit the Wall Street Journal and is heading to The New York Times, where she will continue covering the arts. She had been writing the Journal‘s New York section for all of six weeks.

One source at the Wall Street Journal informed The Observer that “people here are fucking furious. She knows all the plans.” The two publications have been fighting it out for some time over their competing local coverage of NYC, with the Times going so far as to roll out a particularly aggressive ad campaign.
