In more than 20 years in the media business, Cosmopolitan EIC Kate White has led four magazines and authored several New York Times bestsellers. And she didn’t get to where she is by saying “yes” all the time.
“The rewards go to those who take risks. And sometimes women come into the workplace and they think they need to be buttoned up and mind their P’s and Q’s. And the problem is you’re not putting yourself out there.”
