Les Moonves’ Brother Leads World Series Of Poker With $570K

David Cross
We don’t find ourselves reading poker blogs too often — in fact, never — but a tipster pointed us to this paragraph, buried in a long post on ESPN’s poker blog, and it caught our eye:
One last note about yesterday’s play: The chip leader, Jon Moonves, is stacked at $570,000 and seemed truly excited to be in his position. He admitted to ESPN.com’s video crew that he wasn’t the best player in the tournament, but knew that everything is working out in his favor so far. Although you might not know Jon, you may have heard of his brother Les, who is the CEO of CBS. Moonves was sporting a hat with the logo for ClubUBT.com, the blackjack tour broadcast on CBS.
As Dan Rather might say, you gotta know when to hold ‘em, know when to get out of town like Slim with his feet crackling like a hickory fire.
