Court TV's Henry Schleiff made a grand entrance. Upon seeing his lunch guest (Alex Ben Block of TV Week) sitting alone, he exclaimed: "Not since Thomas Jefferson dined alone has there been so much intelligence at one table!" But before taking his seat, he strode over to Fox News' Roger Ailes' table (Roger was seated with arch-enemy Jon Klein, Pres of CNN), slapped both men five and yelled: "Breaking news. Dewey lost!"

1: Wearing a yellow short-sleeved Polo shirt and black sweater vest, Court TV's Henry Schleiff was lunching with Alex BEN Block, editor of TV Week and Jennifer Geisser, head of communications at Court TV.

7: Lynn Tesoros (sp?), who works with Hamilton South of HL Group, was with bag designer CeCe Cord and another woman.

8: David Patrick Columbia, New York Social Diaries, was with Brooke Duchin (wife of Peter Duchin) and always-dapper Alex Hitz.

A: Peter Brown was with Joan Ganz Cooney. Liz Smith joined them until former Governor Ann Richards joined her. The pair then repaired to Table H for a late lunch.

B: Joe Armstrong was with the founder of Worth's W. Randall Jones.

C: Roger Ailes with Jon Klein.

11: Hacker Henry with his blonde assistant.

D: Jack Myers, author of The Jack Myers report and founder of mediavillage.com, with two blondes, one taller than the other: Liz Marks (formerly of MPG) and Jill Botway (of Omnicom's media agency OMD).

E: Richard Bressler, former CFO of Time Warner and Viacom was trading notes with David Zaslov, President of NBC cable.

12/F: My table. Ad Age's foxy Scott Donaton and Lisa Dallos, who's about to get a new job, I just know it!

G: Sandra Lee Karatz (AKA The New Martha Stewart) with Publisher Ms. Westmoreland.

17: Unknown MOMA museum employee (we know this because Lisa spotted his employee ID) with unknown guest.

16: Paul Caine, publisher of People mag, with record producer Billy Mann and Lisa Wolfe, head of promos and marketing at Columbia.

15: Harper Collins' David Hirshey (at his regular table) with Jonathan Burnham, Harper publisher, and book agent Susan Lehman.

23: Dan Tischman (son of that Tischman) with unknown guest.

Back room:
Shelly Lazarus, CEO of ad agency Ogilvy & Mather wtih AAAA's (no, not the Auto organization, but close :), Burtch Drake.
