From jury duty, Mixed Media blogger Jeff Bercovici broke some news (admittedly, about his own magazine, but still impressive. Jon Fine also heard the news.) In a post about Men's Vogue, Bercovci included a note about Conde Nast Portfolio:

"There are also some changes right here at Portfolio: A spokeswoman says the frequency will be reduced to 10 times a year, from 12."

The magazine, which drawn criticism for its cover choices and struggled to live up to its $100 million launch price, has long been subject of death rumors. It will be interesting to see if embattled editor Joanne Lipman survives.
