Mar Jennings, a banker and self-proclaimed "lifestyle guru," says he is "creating a financial package" to purchase Martha Stewart's four-acre estate in Greens Farms, Connecticut.

Jennings told the Westport Minuteman he was interested in "taking advantage" of the historic Martha Stewart property as "wonderful platform upon which to grow his business."

The property, with an asking price of $8.9 million, has been on the block since May.
