Today's New York Times fills in some additional details on the upcoming re-relaunch of Radar, as well as gets editor Maer Roshan on the record:

First, there will be Radar the Web site, which is to begin by mid-August. Then, early next year the editors plan to start publishing a print edition, most likely 6 to 10 times a year.

Roshan:

"I'm not insane, and I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't have a real reason to think it would be successful," Mr. Roshan said yesterday. "What we've never had is the time any magazine needs to succeed."
