In the wake of the ad recession and the increased competition from online publications, The New York Times Company is doggedly pursuing the luxe bucks. After the strong advertiser response to September's specially-themed College issue, The New York Times magazine -- which drew 104 advertising pages -- will unveil eight more in 2008. The themed New York Times magazine issues will be: Money (March 9) Green (April 20), Architecture (June 8), College (Sept. 21), Food (Oct. 26), Home Entertainment (Nov. 23), Year in Ideas (Dec. 14) and, finally, Lives They Lived (Dec. 28).
