Wired magazine celebrated its fifteenth anniversary last night with a party on the rooftop of the newly opened Highbar. Despite the chilly winds the place was packed with the likes of Charlie Rose (fishbowlNY has been seeing quite a lot of him these days), Chris Anderson, Cathy Horyn, Laurel Touby, James Surowiecki, Jim Louderback, Jon Fine, Jon Friedman, Lockhart Steele, Julia Allison, Kate Lee, Elizabeth Spiers.

We asked Chris Anderson what he thought of the Times article yesterday that expressed concern that a recent feature in Wired may be encouraging illegal drug use. After reiterating that the piece had been "very, very, very, very, very, very — have I said 'very' enough?" well-researched, and that the findings happened to be true, Anderson went on to point out that the story had actually been out for weeks and that perhaps the Times was, er, struggling for a story.
