If media stocks are any indication, the huge volatility we've seen in the market during the financial crisis could be drawing to a close. The vast majority of the top 13 ended the week within spitting distance percentagewise from where they started. Time Warner, the biggest company, was unchanged — probably good news for all those Time Inc. brands. For the first time since we started keeping track, Google changed less than 10 points.
