Except:

1. Those pants he was wearing were pretty tight.

2. Viewers could tell whether Wogan was circumcised or not.

3. Viewers could tell whether he hangs to the left or the right.

4. Viewers were upset. Or amused. Or a combination of the two.

Part of a stealth BBC campaign to sex it up for the geriatric set? A fashion mistake that's going to be taken out on some poor stylist? A secret campaign to cut off circulation to the lower half of Terry Wogan's body? Who knows.
