According to a company statement, American Express Publishing Co. VP of corporate marketing and sales Stacey Staaterman tapped Michaela Guzy for VP of global travel and strategic development.  Guzy’s new title will put her in charge of Amex Pub’s marketing and sales initiatives for accounts based in the Southeast U.S., Caribbean, Canada, Mexico, Central/South America, India, and Europe.

Staaterman is excited about the new hire and the potential to broaden the publisher’s influence:

“We are thrilled to have someone so experienced and well-connected in the travel industry to help American Express Publishing expand in this critical endemic advertising category.
