More Women’s Health Trouble: EE Jumps to Oprah’s Mag

Gwinn, who previously worked at InStyle, Entertainment Weekly, and The New York Times, had been with WH since 2007.

Jumping to a new job is an interesting choice for the executive editor. Her former publication might be struggling to retain staffers, but O can’t keep ad pages, losing 23 percent in the fourth quarter year-to-year. It makes you wonder how bad things must be at Women’s Health.

UPDATE: Gwinn emailed FBNY the following: “I’ve loved working with Michele in the short time she’s been here, and had this opportunity not presented itself, I would have happily stayed at Women’s Health. But O is one of my favorite magazines and, frankly, it’s a move that I couldn’t pass up.”
