Mountain Bike Magazine Rides No More
A bit of sad news for fans of Mountain Bike magazine: Folio: is reporting that Rodale is folding the title into Bicycling magazine. The current issue of Mountain Bike — the November issue — is its last. However, Bicycling.com will now feature a special “Mountain Bike” channel.
The number of layoffs as a result of the merge has not been disclosed.
Rodale hopes the change, which will not impact the magazine’s current circulation, will boost Bicycling‘s stature among bike enthusiasts.
