Michael Chabon Gets A Coen Brothers Makeover: Filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen have signed on to direct the film version of The Yiddish Policemen's Union. The Pulitzer-winning novel, which takes place in a world where Jewish refugees settled in Alaska after the 1948 collapse of Israel, will make a hell of a film. Film noir undertones, kooky mysticism, social commentary... yeah, the sucker's got it all. More importantly, we can't think of anyone who is better suited for the project than the Coens.

Repo Man II: In Comic Book Form!: Director Alex Cox (Sid & Nancy) is writing the script to a graphic novel sequel to Repo Man.
