New Hire at Newsweek

origggmminal.jpgNewsweek has officially brought Seth Colter Walls on board as a reporter. Those of you who feel like you’ve been seeing links to Newsweek pop up more frequently of late, particularly (and sort of strangely…for Newsweek) when it comes to music exclusives, may recognize the name.

Colter Walls was previously a political reporter at the Huffington Post, and prior to that freelanced at Newsweek International, where he wrote mostly about the politics of the Middle East.

In recent months he has been responsible for exclusives involving Sonic Youth, Prince, and Bob Dylan as well as covering subjects as diverse as hip-hop, Surrealist cinema, John Adams, and literary fiction.
