The Fiscal Times has announced a slew of new hires to its Washington bureau today. Adam Ross, formerly of The Washington Post, joins as deputy Washington editor beginning November 29. Kirk Victor and Keith P. White, both previously of The National Journal, are joining as contributing writers.

Ross’ former position was that of opinions producer and editor for The Post. He has also served as a politics producer for the paper’s website, washingtonpost.com. In addition, Ross has served as managing editor at Sans Institute.
Victor covered the White House for The National Journal, and will cover both it and Congress in his new role. White, meanwhile, will cover spending and budget issues. He has previously served as editor of the Congress Daily at the National Journal Group.
